The Dawn Walloon team is pleased to share the planned upgrades to Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park, informed by the valued feedback from the Dawn and wider Walloon community. With a focus on diverse and inclusive areas for all ages, the planned upgrades to Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park will encompass new bench seating, skate park improvements, goal posts, cricket pitch and fence, and much more!

If you’re a fan of nostalgia, good vibes, and great music, then mark your calendars because Throwback Fridays at Orion Hotel Springfield are back every Friday night! Every Friday from 4pm onwards, Orion Hotel Springfield – a half-hour drive from Dawn Walloon – will come alive with your favourite classic hits.

April has seen progress continue smoothly across Dawn, with the team eager to share this our latest update. The team are thrilled to announce that Settlements have commenced in the Lumina Release (Gibbs Stage 1) over the past month, with Dawn’s newest residents dream home builds set to begin soon!

Set to take place on Saturday 27 April at the scenic Ipswich Showgrounds from 9am – 5pm and just $2 entry, the Ipswich Family Expo brings together local businesses that support growing families from pregnancy and birth to tweens and teens.

If you’re an olive afficionado, then you need to make sure you attend the annual Watercress Creek Olive Festival at Watercress Creek Olives and Limes! Featuring a range of handmade goodies including olives, figs and limes from the Watercress groves, the day out is the best place to be if you’re looking to up your charcuterie game.

March has brought exciting milestones for the team at Dawn, with key developments across the thriving community. Dawn is another step closer to welcoming more residents to the community to build their dream homes, as The Lumina Release (Gibbs Stage 1) has been registered with the Titles Office.

January was a busy month at Dawn, with works continuing smoothly. We are excited to share that multiple stages have seen significant construction progress over the Summer.

Our team at Dawn recently celebrated a major local milestone, welcoming Ipswich’s 250,000th resident – Dave and his family – to the Dawn community! Having settled into Dawn in late October, Dave and his family are thoroughly enjoying their new life, connection to local parklands, neighbourhood amenities, quiet walking trails, and everything that Ipswich has to offer.

As we fast approach the holidays and 2023 comes to an end, we are looking back to celebrate all the achievements made across Dawn in 2024. CarnEVIL Embracing the spirit of Halloween, Dawn kicked off spooky season with its CarnEVIL event.
