James and Kaeli Can’t Wait for their Family to Grow in Dawn

Since choosing to build their first family home in Dawn, James and Kaeli Barrett have not stopped recommending the community to all their friends and family.

As a young family seeking a balance between well-developed infrastructure and natural, bushy surrounds, James says they were immediately attracted to Dawn and fell in love with the estate after their first visit.

“We wanted a place where we could explore, walk around, and do family stuff. Both of us grew up in such environments and we really want our son to enjoy the best of Australiana greenery,” James said. “The second we found Dawn it was a no-brainer.”

James, who works in agri-business, and Kaeli, who works in medical administration, had been searching for the right place to call home for over 18 months. “It’s been a massive process, and we looked at a lot of options. But they always felt like something we’d have to settle for, either requiring renovations after already breaking the bank just buying the place,” James shared.

Their search led them to an online ad for Dawn, which piqued their interest enough to visit Walloon.

“The second we saw Dawn we immediately fell in love with it. It is so well maintained, provides an easy commute to the office, and the outdoorsy feel was a huge draw card for us,” James explained.

“We want our son to grow up loving to play outside, just like we did, and Dawn offers that beautiful outdoor environment we were after, while still being convenient for everyday living.”

Thankful their homebuying experience was an exciting and smooth process, James and Kaeli commended their sales agent Scott for helping them every step of the way.

“We can’t recommend Scott enough. He was fantastic, knowledgeable, accommodating, patient, and has a great sense of humour. He made the whole process extremely enjoyable,” James said.

Having fallen in love with Dawn and the Walloon area, the Barretts plan on living in their new home for at least the next ten years. “This is our first home purchase, and we absolutely plan on making the most of it,” James concluded.
