King’s Christian College Receives Development Approval

We are pleased to share that King’s Christian College has received development approval, marking an exciting milestone for Dawn and the wider Walloon community.

The approved community use will provide an Early Learning Centre and a school from Prep through to Year 12. The plans also include a church/community centre, providing valuable facilities for future residents and the broader community.

Development will begin shortly with plans to open the Early Learning Centre late 2027, with the school to open in January 2028 – initially with students from Prep to Year 3.  The school will add a new year level every year until it is a complete Prep to Year 12 school in 2037.

Staff roles have been identified to operate the proposed school, supporting local employment opportunities as the school and community continue to grow.

This is a significant step forward for the future delivery of King’s Christian College and an exciting milestone for Dawn residents and Walloon.
