Construction Update: July 2026

July marked another productive month at Dawn, with major infrastructure works continuing to advance and several important project milestones reached across the estate.

Phase 3 bulk earthworks are now approximately 90% complete following several weeks of cut-to-fill operations and material relocation across the site. Sewer construction has also progressed significantly, increasing from 35% to 70% completion over the past month. Stage 12 sewer works are now complete, with crews continuing through Stage 13.

Stormwater infrastructure in Stage 12 is advancing steadily and has reached around 35% completion. Retaining wall construction across Stages 12 and 13 has also moved forward, progressing from excavation and foundation works to post installation, sleeper placement and backfilling.

Another major achievement this month was the completion of the culvert base pour and upstream apron slab, marking an important step forward for the project’s waterway infrastructure. Watermain installation has also commenced within Stage 12.

Looking ahead, construction teams will focus on completing stormwater works, progressing watermain installation and advancing the next stage of culvert construction. In further positive news, the Stage 15 construction contract has now been awarded, with works expected to commence in the coming month.

The momentum generated throughout July continues to drive development across Dawn, with activity increasing and future stages taking shape.
