Daybreak Park: Now Open!

ID_Land are excited to announce that Daybreak Park, the vibrant new centrepiece of the Dawn community in Walloon, is now officially open to the public. What was once a bold vision has now become a lively reality. It is a place where families can gather, friends can connect, and daily life takes on a fresh energy. 

Daybreak Park has rapidly become a popular destination, thanks to its extensive offerings and spontaneous play sessions. It recently hosted CarnEVIL 2025, Dawn’s annual Halloween community event, which further boosted its appeal. The positive feedback has been overwhelming, with community members describing it as “amazing,” “our new favourite spot,” and “exactly what the community needed.” It’s clear that this park is resonating well with Dawn residents and the surrounding neighbourhood. 

Designed in collaboration with the local council and shaped by community consultation, Daybreak Park delivers on its promise. This new central focal point of Dawn features BBQ facilities, shaded seating and amenities ready for casual gatherings and weekend celebrations. The all-ages accessible playground, featuring a standout playground tower, draws children of all ages. Sporty visitors are also catered for, with a multi-purpose court, outdoor gym equipment, running track, and a ping pong table nestled among the lush green surrounds. 

Paths wind through the parkland, the colourful concrete surfacing adding a lively rhythm and a reflection of the community’s dawn-inspired character and sense of renewal. Large open space and multipurpose goalposts invite older kids (and grown-ups) to kick a footy, throw a frisbee or unwind on the lawn. 

The positive response speaks volumes. One visitor shared: 

“Daybreak Park is beautiful, my family is very excited.”
