Construction Update: November 2025

As we move toward the end of the year, construction activity across Dawn, Walloon continues to progress at pace, with exciting milestones reached right across the community. 

We’re thrilled to share that Daybreak Park is now open to the community! After months of hard work, residents and the wider Walloon and Ipswich community can now enjoy the completed parkland, including the multipurpose court, playground, and open green spaces that will quickly become the heart of community life at Dawn. 

Construction works on site continue to advance despite recent wet weather. The culvert crossing, the first connection into the western precinct, is making good progress, with just one final concrete pour left before backfilling and roadworks are finished. This will be a major milestone, providing a key access point into the Western Precinct, particularly Stages 7 – 11, which are currently under construction. 

In Stage 7, roadworks are well underway, with kerb installed, gravel laid, and servicing works complete. Over in Stage 8, roadworks have commenced, with the road boxing prepared and ready for the next phase of construction. 

Stages 9 to 11 are also tracking well, with sewer infrastructure nearing completion and stormwater installation progressing smoothly. Meanwhile, earthworks for future stages are nearing completion, continuing to reshape the landscape and lay the groundwork for the next wave of development within the estate. 

It’s inspiring to see Dawn’s vision come to life each month, with new spaces, connections, and stages transforming into a vibrant, green, and welcoming neighbourhood in Walloon.
