Construction Update: July 2025

As we move through the middle of winter, construction across the Dawn, Walloon community continues to progress at pace, and we’re pleased to share the July 2025 Construction Update!

At the heart of Dawn, Walloon, Daybreak Park is coming to life, with the first multi-court installed and the playground tower nearing complete assembly. The park’s distinct character is beginning to show, with vibrant coloured concrete paths now visible onsite. It’s great to see the vision coming to life.

To the west of the waterway, bulk earthworks are now well underway, with numerous earthmoving machines actively reshaping the terrain in preparation for future stages. With approximately 100,000m³ of fill already moved, the equivalent of 40 Olympic-sized swimming pools, the transformation is well underway.

Road preparations in Gibbs have also reached a significant milestone, with road asphalting recently laid.

Meanwhile, in Stage 7, installation of key service infrastructure is now underway, setting the foundations for another new pocket of the community.

We’re excited to see these works progressing as we continue to deliver a vibrant, connected neighbourhood at Dawn, Walloon.
