Planes, Trains, and Autos Festival 2025: A weekend fuelled with thrills and nostalgia!

Set to takeover the Ipswich area from Saturday 3 May until Monday 5 May at the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops, this year’s festival is sure to be full of exciting events you won’t want to miss.
This exciting three-day festival features an array of displays, interactive exhibits, and roving entertainment, all themed around the topics of aviation, rail and autos.
Plus, there’ll be hoards of food trucks on site to keep you well and truly fuelled up for fun throughout the day.
If you’re a fan of classic cars, make sure to check out one of the festival’s standout events, the Mustang Car Show on Sunday 4 May.
Hosted by Hotel Commonwealth in collaboration with Mustang Enthusiasts Queensland, this event is guaranteed to bring all the horsepower and style. Don’t miss this opportunity to get up close and snap photos of your favourite cars and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere!
