Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park is officially open!

Did you celebrate with us on the first Saturday of November for the grand opening of the upgraded Henry Lawson Park?

We were delighted to see so many locals come down and say hello! Not to mention, test-running the expansive new off-lead dog park, strolling along the fresh footpaths and renewed turf, and trying out the refurbished basketball court, new skate park, goal posts and cricket pitch.

Of course, the day was made even better with sweet treats for all those trying out all the new park features! Between a friendly game of cricket, shooting hoops or a kick of the footy, visitors enjoyed complimentary coffee and pastries. There were also live acoustic tunes from a musician, making for a truly memorable day.

Now, with its vibrant atmosphere and family-friendly amenities, Henry Lawson is a true destination for the community. If you missed out on the festivities, don’t worry – any sunny weekend or afternoon is the perfect time to discover all this beautiful park has to offer.
