Park Upgrades Coming Soon

The Dawn Walloon team is pleased to share the planned upgrades to Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park, informed by the valued feedback from the Dawn and wider Walloon community.

With a focus on diverse and inclusive areas for all ages, the planned upgrades to Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park will encompass new bench seating, skate park improvements, goal posts, cricket pitch and fence, and much more! The addition of two off-leash dog areas will also provide a dedicated spaces for both small and large breeds.

The Park will be refreshed with new lighting, additional planting, renewed turf areas, and an improved connectivity via a footpath extension to Rohl Road – improving access for Dawn residents.

Works are expected to begin in May 2024, with the upgrades anticipated to be completed by Spring! Stay tuned for updates regarding the Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park upgrades as well as other news from around Dawn, Walloon.
