Step back in time and into historic homes

Calling all history and architecture enthusiasts! The Great Houses of Ipswich Heritage Bus Tour returns this May for another exciting National Trust event.

Taking place on Saturday 13 May, the Great Houses Heritage Tour offers a step back in time for the local community, with heritage-listed houses in the area opening their doors to visitors for the day.

Promising to be a fun and educational experience, the day will include access to three historic houses featuring period architecture and beautiful styling, followed by a traditional Devonshire Tea.

The bus tour is a great way for the whole family to explore the heritage and history of Queensland’s oldest provincial city, Ipswich.

Running from 9.30am – 2pm, this tour is suitable for all ages above five years old. Tickets range from $60 to $65 and include a delicious afternoon tea.
