Free plants aplenty!
They say the best things in life are free! That is certainly the case for Ipswich residents, as the Ipswich City Council is offering free plants for the community as part of its Free Plant Program.
Running each year, the Free Plant Program is a popular initiative that encourages locals to take part in shaping Ipswich into a lush, green, and beautiful community!
This exciting program offers residents plants that have been curated and chosen based on local soil conditions and the area’s climate.
Dawn residents can score their free plants at Queens Park Nursery in Ipswich on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, or keep an eye out for the pop-up mobile nursery visiting the surrounding communities.
Dawn residents are invited to get down and enjoy the fun atmosphere of the pop-up nursery at Brassall Shopping Centre car park on Saturday 22 April. The nursery will be open from 8am-11am, with plenty of time to score your free plants and a morning coffee.
