Visit Ipswich Nature Centre this month

Are you looking for your next family adventure? Ipswich Nature Centre is the perfect destination! Located in Ipswich’s historical Queens Park, the centre offers a magical opportunity to get up close and personal with an array of incredible Australian wildlife.
Ipswich Nature Centre is home to a range of native wildlife, landscaped gardens and exhibits showcasing local fauna and flora, making for a fun and educational day where the whole family can learn about the Australian environment and its inhabitants.
A series of paths and boardwalks meander through enclosures that are home to more than 40 species of Australian native animals, including a walk-through aviary, a reptile house and a baby animal barn.
The centre is open six days a week and is located within Queens Park, Milford Street Ipswich, only a 20min drive from Walloon. Admission is free, however a gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated to help keep the centre well maintained and most importantly, the animals happy.
